Terms and conditions specific to SS Performing Arts school students only

Registration

1. After enrolment you will be liable to pay the full terms fees. There is also membership fee of £20 for each new student which must be paid in cash or via bank transfer. This is a one-off fee and will not need to be paid again during the student’s attendance at the school, unless they decide to leave and then re-enrol at a later date, without prior agreement. It is with this membership fee, that the student will receive their SS Performing Arts T-Shirt.

Please note that enrolment is for the complete remainder of the term and will continue for each term thereafter, until notice is given. It is your responsibility to give the school notice if you do not wish to continue your enrolment. We ask that a minimum of two weeks’ notice is given before the start of a new term and before a new invoice is issued.

Fee Structure and payment rules and late payments

2. As stated previously in the general terms and conditions, all fees must be paid upfront and no refunds are issued.

4. Overdue fees will automatically accrue a late payment fee of £5 to be paid alongside the outstanding invoice. An additional 5% interest fee will be added per week thereafter. Regular offenders will be asked to discuss payment plans.

5. Payments can be made via stripe, or in some cases by cash. Any payments in cash must be placed inside an envelope along with the child’s name.

6. All Uniform should be purchased from the school directly. This should be paid for in advance of an order being placed. Orders will be placed at the start of every term.

7. All exam payments go to the IDTA board so it is important that these are paid on time. Late payments may result in a student being removed from the exam timetable.

Attendance and absence

8. Refunds will be given to children that have prolonged absence due to illness or injury, only on evidence of a medical certificate.

9. If a class is cancelled due to illness of a teacher or any other unforeseen event, we will try to reschedule the class. This may mean taking the class on a different day or time or extending term dates. If a class can not be rescheduled then a refund will be issued and taken off the next invoice to be issued.

10. SS Performing Arts reserve the right to ask participants to leave a class if any fees remain outstanding at the start of term.

11. Although attendance at the school is not compulsory, poor attendance is frowned upon as it can be extremely disruptive for the rest of the class, especially when they are working on group dances. SS Performing arts therefore reserve the rights to refuse a student’s renewal of enrolment should a child’s attendance be unsatisfactory.

12. SS Performing Arts would appreciate notice given of any student absence, in advance.
